Happy 1st to Audrey Mae!

August 29, 2007, 11:55pm, 8 pounds 4 ounces. Audrey Mae Manley arrived! Wow...time really flies. Happy birthday to our precious Audrey. 1 year today!

Steps!

I left my camera up at my sister in law's house at the beginning of this month so I have been without photos for what feels like FOREVER! In less than two days my little peanut turns 1! I have been having a tad of anxiety over her upcoming birthday and wondering constantly when life will ever slow down.....

Reid had back to school night tonight so I was meeting him and his Dad at his school this evening which meant that Audrey and I were home alone for about an hour before I left for Reid's event. I walked in the house from work with Audrey on my hip and set her down in the kitchen. She has been going from a sitting to standing position without holding on for about a week now so I wasn't surprised when she stood right up.

But then it happened! She took two steps! Aghh..

My little girl....is on the move. Crazy. And I have no camera to prove it! Good thing is that she was still awake when Ben and I got home from back to school night with Reid and she took 3 steps for Ben. I think he was in shock. I am loving EVERY minute of this!

Wow....what a day!

1 MONTH!

Time flies when you are having fun! One month ago TODAY we tied the knot. Happy Anniversary to us :)

Rehearsal Dinner

Have I ever mentioned how incredibly blessed that Ben and I are? We were so lucky to be surrounded by our closest friends and family around the time of our wedding (even Karli Eagar who flew in from Arizona) Here are some shots from our rehearsal dinner at Uva Tratorilla in downtown Napa Valley.

I have been in love with a photographer from the Bay Area for a couple years. I followed her work and spent hours reading her BLOG! http://www.skogasinvogue.com/ (in case you want to check her out!)
When I was 8 months pregnant with Audrey I was reading Jen's BLOG one night and thought it was funny that she had just recently photographed some CAL HIGH Grizzly weddings! Funny...that is where Ben went to high school. I called him into the office and he about died when he saw the name on the website. He not only knew the photographer but considered her a great friend! He did some sweet talking and we were BLESSED to have her photograph some family pictures before our wedding and our wedding itself! Enjoy some snapshots from her trip to Napa to take some family photos....

Reid celebrated his 5th BIRTHDAY at the lake with presents and a boat ride to Miller's for ice cream on June 30th (thanks Auntie Dawn & Uncle Brent for my new Thomas the train glasses!)
