Finally Here!

Audrey has been working on getting her first tooth for about a week now. I have not been able to check her gums since I had strep the last few days but tonight during her bath I gave her gums a little rub down and there it was! Sharp as a knife. FINALLY. 5 days before her 8 month birthday! No wonder she slept like a rock last night.....the tooth must have arrived and finally let her have a good nights sleep.

3 months and counting.....

Three months from today Ben and I finally say "I DO"! Crazy! This wedding has really creeped up on me and I am starting to get stressed! I have spent my last three days in bed with my first case of strep throat and I have had lots of time to think about all the little things that need to get done sometime between now and July 25th.....
Wish me luck! Although Ben and I had been dating for three months when these pictures were taken it is my first official shot on film of the two of us at Erin Griffin's wedding two years ago. What a difference 2 years makes.

Date Night w/ the GIANTS

Two years ago Wednesday April 9th Ben and I had our first date at a Giants game. I wanted to take him back last year but the Giants did not play at home on the 9th. So this year I planned ahead and got tickets to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of our 1st date. I surprised Ben at work with the tickets and we were off to jump on Bart, transfer to Muni and at the park before the gates even opened. We headed across the street to the famous MoMo's for a beer before the game. I can't thank Rich and Cheryl Perkins enough for the tickets and gift card to the park (it was our 1st official wedding present!). Once in the park we took advantage and enjoyed hot dogs, garlic fries, soda's, beer and of course peanuts. To mark our 2nd anniversary the Giants won the game in the bottom on the 9th with 2 outs! YES, we stayed till the end! Can't wait to celebrate another April 9th with the Giants next year.

Spring = Swim Lessons!

April in Napa means swim lessons for Reid! For three years Reid has taken lessons from a women who I met when I worked at Healthquest back in high school! She is an amazing woman who has made Reid so confident in the pool. Audrey was in awe of not only the pool but Reid swimming too. Can't wait to get Audrey in the pool when her lessons start next month.

Birthday's & Pony Rides

We headed up to Auburn this weekend for Kendal's 4th birthday party. Both kids had a great time with the family. Brandon and Jill surprised the kids and had pony rides on their property. It was a perfect way to celebrate Kendal's birthday and my kids both enjoyed their first pony rides!

Easter Sunday

We enjoyed the beautiful Easter Sunday weather with a Easter Egg hunt & brunch in Pleasant Hill with Ben's family in the morning. The older kids had a blast looking for eggs and Audrey was quite content to play on her blanket and watch the big kids. We followed up brunch with a 2nd Easter Egg hunt in our own backyard. Ben and I passed two traditions on to Reid and Audrey this Easter. In my family I always received a new swimsuit to kick off spring in my Easter basket and in Ben's family the "Easter Bunny" hide the Easter baskets and the kids had to find them. Reid was happy to find a new Thomas the Train swimsuit in his basket and Miss Audrey received her 1st Bass Lake 4th of July swimsuit. Reid found his basket in the bathtub! Lucky us to pass these traditions on to our own little ones. A special THANKS to Aunt Mayela for Audrey's 1st Easter dress.
